Walks & Talks
# It was a very wet night when I visited Blythe Bridge ladies for a talk, but they made me very welcome and we all had a good time, thankyou.
We’ve entertained school groups, cubs and scout groups with farm walks and talks in an effort to reacquaint the future consumer with their food and where it comes from and how it is produced
If any school is interested in a visit by the NFU roadshow, Farmvention schools competition, Stemterprise or Speakers for Schools let me know- also schools can access curriculum compliant, fully planned lessons for key stage children
So many myths and half truths flourish in the media and it is potentially harming for the agricultural industry. It's even more important that consumers understand the value of local beef produce considering the recent food and health scares.
We also believe we are not alone in the compassionate and conservation based manner in which we farm and so welcome individuals or groups to come and see for themselves and ask questions.
We can also arrange to give talks at group meetings to discuss our process and explain why we farm in the way we do.
If you are interested in attending one please get in touch via phone or email
